Viva Sevilla¡

Seville is a city of stunning architecture, fascinating pattern work, delicious tapas and the home of flamenco. It is perfect for a romantic weekend away or a girls' shopping trip. It's a place that everyone should visit.

One of the first places you should visit is a Casa de Pilatos (Pilots House). I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful places I've been to. Officially known as the Royal Ducal House of Medinaceli it was built in 16th century.

The Alcázar of Seville is the Royal Palace situated right in the heart of the city. It's magnificent architecture and design will not leave you short of emotions. Pattern work throughout the palace is exquisite, even every set of stairs has it's own unique applique.

The gardens surrounding the palace will take your breath away. Well, at least they did for me. :)

Spain is the home of tapas but Seville is the kitchen of that home! I would suggest to wonder around the city some afternoon and randomly pick a "tapasserie" of your choice.
I am sure it will be delicious!

When the sun goes down Seville comes alive! Streets fill up with noisy crowds and flamenco artist prepare to take the center stage.

Locals have recommended to visit La Carboneria, a very old traditional flamenco "bar" where Sevillians go for authentic experience. You will not find stage lights or a stage and for that matter, there is no sound system apart from acoustic, nor there is paint on the walls. You will however find true passion of many generations right in front of your eyes. You'll find a young man playing piano with his grandmother signing by his side and an older lady yet so vibrant and full of life that even the most energetic 20 something dancer doesn't stand a chance in a battle for the most eloquent dance. If you need a reason to come to Seville, Carboneria should be just it.

Visit Seville, you will not regret it. You'll fall in love with this magical city.
